Enabling the next generation of mission driven startup leaders
Pay-It-Forward Coaching
You might be in a season of questions.
Maybe you’ve hit a wall at work, or lost something that mattered. Maybe you’re between jobs—or between versions of yourself.
You’re doing your best, but something inside is whispering: there’s more for you than this.
If that’s you, keep reading.
TL;DR – The Essentials
What’s Included: • One onboarding session • Six coaching sessions (your pace: weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly) • Tools, practices, and space to help you move forward with clarity
What’s Asked of You: • A full-hearted commitment to this work • A donation—any amount you can—to a cause I support • A capstone project that reflects your growth and learning
Why I Offer This
In the 1970s, a Jewish family in San Jose watched the Vietnam War unfold on their television. Instead of turning away, they did something extraordinary: they opened their home to two Vietnamese refugees—my parents.
They didn’t know them. But they said yes anyway. A few months later, I was born.
That act of courage and compassion didn’t just save two lives. It shaped everything that came after—including me.
This coaching offer is one small way I pay that forward.
Who This Is For
This is for people who care deeply about how they show up in the world and the impact they make.
Maybe you're a public school teacher trying to stay grounded. A founder who recently shut down your company and is wondering what’s next. A customer support intern figuring out how to use your voice.
Title doesn’t matter. Income doesn’t matter. What matters is that you’re ready to look inward, move forward, and do the work.
This isn’t something I advertise publicly. It’s shared quietly, offered intentionally, and only a few spots exist.
If you’re reading this, it’s likely for a reason.
How Coaching Works
We’ll start with a short reflection exercise and one deep-dive onboarding session to map out where you are, where you want to go, and what’s in the way.
Then, we’ll meet for six coaching sessions—your pace: weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly. Not sure what cadence fits? We’ll figure it out together.
Each session is a judgment-free sandbox. A space to explore honestly, think clearly, and move forward—step by step.
Sometimes that means:
An “aha” moment that shifts how you see yourself or others
Getting clear on what “good” looks like so you know where you’re headed
Creating a simple, doable plan you can act on with confidence
Whether it’s one breakthrough or slow, steady progress—you’ll leave each session (or the space between) feeling like something real just moved.
What We’ll Bring to the Table
From you:
Preparation – Bring a real question, challenge, or opportunity
Play full out – Keep an open mind and fully engage
Follow through – Do the reflection, research, or next steps that emerge
From me:
No judgment – I’ll meet you with compassion, not critique
No bullshit – I’ll challenge you when you’re playing small or settling
Whatever it takes – I’ll bring the best of my time, tools, and training
What’s the Capstone?
At the end of our work, you’ll complete a capstone project—a way to mark your growth.
It might be a decision made, a letter to yourself, a plan in motion, a commitment clarified. Something that says: “This mattered.”
The Money Piece
This isn’t free—but it’s flexible.
I ask that you donate what you can to a cause I support. You can donate after each session or in a lump sum—it’s 1000% based on trust. I’ll never ask or verify.
Current cause: Love4Humanity.org – supporting healing and humanitarian efforts
Past orgs: • AIDS Lifecycle – a 545-mile ride funding HIV/AIDS services • Coaching for Everyone – executive coaching access for BIPOC leaders
Why This Matters to Me
I believe deeply in the ripple effect of one decision.
One person choosing to act from generosity changed the course of my life. Through coaching, I try to carry that forward.
Not perfectly. But with heart, and honesty, and hope.
If You’re Here
I only hold 3 Pay-It-Forward spots at a time. I don’t promote this widely. But if you’ve found your way to this page—and it resonates—there’s a good chance this is for you.
If you know your time is now, you know how to reach me.
